Author Leigh Bardugo on Becoming a Writer

After her father died and she could not sit in front of a computer screen all day with her grief, Author Leigh Bardugo quit her job as a copy writer for movie trailers and started working in makeup and costumes on set. She found that being on her feet all day, not writing, gave her the energy and desire when she got home to focus on her own writing.
