Author Christopher Paul Curtis on a Childhood Memory That inspired "Mr. Chickee's Funny Money"

Author Christopher Paul Curtis remembers a friend of his father’s from when he was a kid who was blind and after tap-tapping toward their house would give him and his siblings ginger ale and potato chips.
