Even with almost 30 books under this belt, Author Jerry Spinelli thinks writing a book is a huge accomplishment; something of which any writer should be proud even if the book is never published. Ideas keep coming to him from his first book, Space Station Seventh Grade to Maniac Magee, which won the Newbery Medal award, to his Stargirl series, which is being developed into a movie.
