Service Learning

If performed within structured programs and organizations, youth service is a proven intervention strategy that helps young people transition to adulthood by building community connections, making academics interesting and relevant, promoting positive social behaviors, and providing lifelong habits of leadership, problem-solving, empathy, and self-reliance.
