Vineland, NJ
Name: Peter Tunnall
Location: Chester, NH
Brief Bio: Tunnall was born in London, England in 1746, the exact date unknown. In 1749, he came to the port of Boston on the frigate HMS Quarterman. He fought in King William’s War, and his left leg was severely torn by shrapnel, replacing it with an ivory replica and making him unsuitable for battle when the first shots were fired at Lexington and Concord in 1775. Despite his disability, Tunnall was an expert horseman, with the ability to travel to Boston and back faster than any other in Chester. Because of this skill, he became town crier — or bellman — in Chester, announcing the most important news of the day.

I am Chief Falcon-Master for King Frederick VII of Denmark. My favorite bird in the mews is Hel, a female Merlin.
Began training Freyja, a lovely goshawk. She's taking well to the hood and jesses, but I can tell she misses her freedom
Went to the pub and saw James, an old friend. He's supposed to come and shoe a few horses at the king's stable tomorrow
Took Ragnarok out for his first training flight. I'm impressed by how fast he took to the lure. He has potential.
The King came by this morning to check on his favorite bird, a white gyrfalcon called Loki.
I overheard the dog handlers gossiping about the war against Germany – We had a victory at Jagel.
One of James’ best horses colicked this morning. James was with her all day trying to keep her on her feet. Hope the mare makes it.
Hugin injured his keel while training today. It doesn’t look good. It’s a terrible shame, that bird was one of our best.
There was a big hunt today, one of the nobles borrowed Munin for it. He’s been restless and a hunt will be good for him.
Have you heard the rumors around the Rasmussen woman that the King is marrying today?
We got news from Gerhard Christoph von Krogh’s army today. They’ve had a victory against the Germans at Lottorf.
The kennels are too close to my mews. The constant barking of the dogs is setting my birds on edge.
I met the Countess of Danner this morning. The title hasn’t changed her. Too bad the nobles don't like her much.
A falcon broke his jesses today. Thankfully, he was too interested in the food to fly off, but had he not, we could have lost a nice bird.
Thor fell ill today and didn’t eat any of his food. I need to stop by the apothecary and pick up some medicine.
I saw Carl Berling talking with the King in the courtyard. Oh, the gossip that was flying around later that day. He’s an odd character.
